Sadly, more and more thieves are willing to attack you to get their hands on your device. Worryingly, mobile phone owners can end up loosing far more than their phone...sometimes they lose their life. Violence associated with mobile phone theft is becoming more and more common.

A girl was fighting for her life last night after being stabbed in Fanling by a man who was later subdued by two passers-by. Mak Lai-kwan, 16, was on her way to work at about 2pm when she was attacked from behind in On Kui Street, police said. She was speaking on her phone at the time of the attack.
